Not to be confused with the smaller Holiday Inn Edinburgh North (which is closer to the city centre) the Holiday Inn Edinburgh is a modern 3 star hotel with excellent facilities to the west of the city, near Edinburgh Zoo. Aimed at business travellers, it is around 4 miles from both the city centre and the airport, and offers comfortable, good quality, good value accommodation outside the hustle and bustle of the centre.

Located to the west of the centre, the holiday inn edinburgh is 4 miles from edinburgh's old town - the Royal Mile, Princes Street, the Castle and the University - and 8 miles to the Scottish Executive, Royal Yacht Britannia and the 'ocean terminal' shopping and leisure complex.

The Hotel is 2 miles east at Edinburgh Zoo. From the North: at the Barnton Traffic lights follow the signs for the City. At the second traffic lights turn left onto Clermiston Road North. Follow the signs for the Zoo. At the lights turn left, the hotel is 1/2 a mile on the left.
